TANK AND SYSTEM COMMISSIONING

Leaking and breached tanks are responsible for significant soil and groundwater contamination. Fuel storage tank decommissioning consists of the removal of defective and/or redundant above & below ground storage tanks.

FUEL TANK DECOMMISSIONING

Over time your fuel storage tank will eventually succumb to weathering & oxidisation which then will eventually leading to a decline in tank integrity through weakening of the structure through such a process.

PREVENTATIVE RESTORATION AND REFURBISHMENT

Internal tank cleans enable the level of contamination to be thoroughly assessed. Excess waste water and solidified (polymerised) fuel components such as the black sludge/slime commonly associated with Diesel & Petrol Bug, can be removed.

INTERNAL CLEANING AND INSPECTION

Handy Fuel WA can visit site to conduct a visual survey on the clients tank, equipment and map out fuel pipework. We can then formulate a plan and scope of works to carry out safe testing in accordance with AS:1692-2006.
